Florence leerde haar vak bij de topkok Jamie Oliver in Engeland. Vervolgens ging ze naar Griekenland en bekleedde daar de functie van kok in het "Hilton-Hotel" in Athene, voordat de liefde haar naar Duitsland bracht. Eerst vond ze een baan in Emsdetten, daarna in het Ladbergener "Miälkwellen", voordat ze in februari 2019 zelfstandig werd met het "Blue-Sea-Restaurant".
Nu begint een nieuw project met haar restaurant “Floras Büningmühle”, om opnieuw haar gasten te verwennen met heerlijk en bijzonder eten.
