De Río Castro is een ongeveer 25 kilometer lange rechter zijrivier van de Río Tera in de Spaanse provincie Zamora.
De bron van de Río Castro bevindt zich in het zuiden van de Montes de León in het noordwesten van de provincie Zamora, op het grondgebied van de gemeente Requejo de Sanabria. Na hevige regenval verschuift de oorsprong van de rivier tot wel twee kilometer naar het noordwesten. De Río Castro stroomt in oostelijke richting en mondt na ongeveer 25 kilometer bij Puebla de Sanabria uit in de Río Tera. De rivier heeft geen noemenswaardige zijrivieren en is niet gestuwd.
