Een elegant klassiek plein (1738-52), gelegen rond het Opera-theater, het oudste nog werkende theater in Frankrijk. De neoromaanse Rijnlandse protestantse tempel werd gebouwd tussen 1901 en 1904, tijdens de Duitse annexatie, door architect Wahn op de plaats van de Jardin d'Amour. Hij werd geïnspireerd door de kathedraal van Speyer. S Avonds wordt het verlichte chevet van de Temple Neuf weerspiegeld in de Moezel en is het bijzonder romantisch.
