Op de Place de la Gare reikt een "meesterhand", een symbool van broederschap, openheid en een teken van welkom, wandelaars en toeristen de hand. Het is het werk van Jean Cardot, winnaar van de Prix de Rome, beeldhouwer van de beroemde buste van Winston Churchill die de Champs Elysées siert. Een bronzen hand, die door de werking van het water op zichzelf draait en zo vanuit alle hoeken aan de voorbijganger verschijnt. Deze originaliteit is uniek in de wereld. Het plein is een van de punten op de historische route van de stad. Deze tour kan gratis worden afgehaald bij het toeristenbureau.
