Het Musée de la Vénerie zal gesloten zijn voor werkzaamheden van 22 september 2025 tot half juni 2026.
Het Musée de la Vénerie bevindt zich in het hart van het koninklijke kasteel van Senlis, in de 18e-eeuwse woning van de priorij van Saint-Maurice. Het roept de culturele en artistieke dimensie op van de jacht met honden, een traditie die diep geworteld is in de regio. Het huis is versierd met talrijke trofeeën van dit gebruik. Schilderijen, gravures, foto's, kunstvoorwerpen en accessoires die gebruikt werden bij de jacht met honden maken het gebouw compleet en getuigen, dankzij een recente museografie, van het belang van de jacht in de geschiedenis.
