Ontdek in Emberménil, op een opmerkelijke wandelroute, de "commandobunker van de kroonprins van Beieren" tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Met een zeldzame afwerking voor een gebouw in oorlogstijd, was het gereserveerd voor de hogere officieren van het Duitse leger
Vanaf de winter van 1914 vestigde het front zich in dit oostelijke deel van het Parroy-bos, waar veel van de door de twee strijdende partijen gebouwde bouwwerken nu nog zichtbaar zijn.
