Raphaël Lehr is in 2018 begonnen met biologische bijenteelt. Zijn 400 bijenkorven bevinden zich in het hart van de bossen van het regionale natuurpark Vosges du Nord, waar hij gecertificeerde biologische honing produceert en tegelijkertijd zijn koolstofvoetafdruk tijdens de productie beperkt. Hij gebruikt alleen lokaal gemaakte houten bijenkasten. De verbintenissen van Raphaël Lehr worden gecontroleerd door een onafhankelijke certificeringsinstantie.
