De Romaanse kerk van Pierrefiche wordt genoemd in documenten die teruggaan tot 1249. De naam Pierrefiche komt van de Menhir die niet ver van het dorp staat. Het staat op de D60 tussen Pierrefiche en Le Cellier.
In de Middeleeuwen behoorde de kerk Saint-Privat toe aan de Hospitaalridders van Sint Jan van Jeruzalem, de Ridders van Malta. Historische kapitelen gebeeldhouwd met figuren en geometrische motieven verfraaien het halfronde boogvormige toegangsportaal. In 1890 kreeg de kerk een vierkante klokkentoren met een spits.
