Op de boerderij van Maillofargueix kunnen bezoekers kennismaken met eco-weiden en verschillende rassen van bedreigde schapen (Thônes et Marthod en Marron des Aravis uit de Savoie, Roux du Valais en Nez Noir uit Wallis Zwitserland, Rava uit Puy de Dôme, Limousine en Limousine type "Baraqué") in een landelijke en ongerepte omgeving te midden van de bossen en heidevelden van de Monts d'Ambazac. Een mini educatieve boerderij met andere dieren (varkens, kippen, ezels, paarden, enz.) is ook een genot voor jong en oud. De boerderij heeft ook een kudde beschermhond. Bezoeken zijn mogelijk voor groepen van minstens 10 personen het hele jaar door, alleen op afspraak.
