De stad Waterford in het zuidoosten van Ierland werd in 1649 en 1650 twee keer belegerd tijdens de Cromwelliaanse verovering van Ierland. De stad werd gehouden door Ierse Confederate Katholieken onder generaal Richard Farrell en Engelse Royalistische troepen onder generaal Thomas Preston. Het werd belegerd door Engelse Parlementariërs onder Oliver Cromwell, Michael Jones en Henry Ireton.
