Ramelton, ook Rathmelton, is een stad en townland in County Donegal, Ierland. In 2016 had het een bevolking van 1.266.
Ramelton is gelegen aan de monding van de rivier Lennon, 11 km ten noorden van Letterkenny en 4 km ten zuiden van Milford, aan de westkust van Lough Swilly. De stad is vernoemd naar Ráth Mealtain, een vroege Gaelic leider. De vesting zou onder de ruïnes van een middeleeuws kasteel van de O'Donnells liggen, de heersende familie van West Donegal voordat ze in 1607 naar het Europese vasteland werden verbannen.
