Caher West Top op 973,4 meter is de vijfde hoogste piek in Ierland volgens de Ierse Vandeleur-Lynam classificatie en maakt deel uit van het MacGillycuddy's Reeks-gebergte. Caher West Top is de enige Furth met een prominentie van minder dan 30 meter.
De berg ligt ongeveer 500 meter ten westen van Caher East Top en maakt deel uit van de MacGillycuddy's Reeks in County Kerry. Caher West Top wordt vaak beklommen als onderdeel van de Coomloughra Horseshoe, die 6-8 uur duurt en wordt beschreven als "een van de klassieke bergwandelingen van Ierland". De horseshoe omvat andere naburige pieken zoals Carrauntoohil, Beenkeragh, The Bones, Skregmore en Cnoc Iochtair.
