Van de idyllische hoogvlakte van Folgaria, Lavarone en Luserna, takkt kort voor de Passo di Vezzena linksaf een onopvallende weg richting Caldonazzo af. Het zogenaamde "Kaiserjägerweg" is een absoluut hoogtepunt: Tiroler soldaten hebben het pad, dat van 1.255 m hoogte naar het Caldonazzomeer leidt, tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog in de rotsen geslagen. Over ongeveer 12 kilometer kronkelen haarspeldbochten door tunnels die soms maar 2,50 m breed en hoog zijn, en bieden grandioze uitzichten op het Lago di Caldonazzo en het Valsugana-dal.
