De Isenberg is een heuvel tussen Velbert-Nierenhof en Hattingen. Via de Balkhauser Weg is de heuvel te beklimmen vanuit het zuid-westen (vanuit Nierenhof, lengte 1,3 km en 50 meter hoogteverschil) of vanuit het noord-oosten (vanuit het dal van de rivier de Ruhr, lengte 1,2 km en 90 meter hoogteverschil). De echte top ligt hoger, en wordt gemarkeerd door een burchtruïne. Ook ligt er een Kletterpark op de top van de heuvel.
