Ostend War Memorial

Description

This monument is located next to the Sint-Petrus en Pauluskerk on the Sint-Petrus en Paulusplein in Ostend.

The memorial to the victims of the 1922 war by Pieter-Jan Braecke (1859-1938) was originally located in the square in front of the church. This monument was demolished in 1968. The bronze statue with the soldier was moved to 'De Plate' (Historical Museum in Ostend).
