The chapel dedicated to the Painful Virgin, where Saint-Quirin is also venerated, is the oldest building in the village. Its choir dates back to the middle of the 15th century. The lintel of the entrance door is engraved with the date 1658 which marks its restoration after the Thirty Years War. During the Revolution it was used as a stable and fodder store and was given back to worship after the Concordat. Its foundation is shrouded in mystery and it is attributed a legend. It came out unscathed from the last world war and served as a parish church from April to September 1945. The chapel contains a Piéta and beautiful stained glass windows installed by OTT in 1900.
