Brasserie La Houppe is opgericht in 2013 door vijf bierliefhebbers. De brouwerij bleef 9 jaar gevestigd in de voormalige brouwerij Balon-Parin in Namen. De productie steeg traag maar gestaag. De vrienden besloten een nieuw gebouw te kopen. Hun oog viel op de voormalige aardbeienveiling in Wépion. In de grote hal zijn de oude veilingbanken en de veilingklok blijven staan. De bierproductiecapaciteit bedraagt intussen 10.000 à 15.000 hl. Het bekendste bier van de brouwerij is La Houppe, een blonde tripel (7,5 % alc.).
