De priorij is open voor bezoekers tijdens evenementen en de Europese Erfgoeddagen.
In 1262 stichtte Saint-Louis de priorij Saint-Maurice, binnen de omtrek van het koninklijk kasteel, om er de relikwieën van vierentwintig martelaren van het Legioen van Thebanen, metgezellen van Saint-Maurice, in onder te brengen. De oostelijke vleugel van de priorij Saint-Maurice is overgebleven van het kloostercomplex en werd verbouwd tot in de 19e eeuw. De slaapzaal van de monniken op de bovenste verdieping is gerestaureerd. Tijdens je bezoek ontdek je het verbazingwekkende houten plafond van de "omgekeerde bootromp".
