Aschendorf è una località nel comune tedesco di Papenburg, nello stato della Bassa Sassonia, e conta, secondo il sito web del comune, 8.444 abitanti. Prima del 1932 era il capoluogo del circondario di Aschendorf e tra il 1932 e il 1977 era il capoluogo dell'ex distretto di Aschendorf-Hümmling.
La località si trova vicino all'autostrada A31 Emden-Rurhgebiet. L'uscita 16, nei pressi del confine olandese a Bellingwolde, immette sulla strada provinciale che conduce dal confine olandese attraverso Rhede verso Aschendorf. Da qui, si prosegue per altri 5 km a nordest sulla B 70 fino a Papenburg stessa.
