Rådhuset i Liège blev bygget mellem 1714 og 1729 på stedet for det gamle gotiske rådhus og overfor den berømte perron, et symbol på den bymæssige frihedstrang.
Dette rådhus, også kendt som 'La Violette' i folkemunde, er en stor, U-formet bygning med to etager, lavet af skiftende mursten og kalksten.
Den store foyer er tilgængelig via en imponerende trappe og er prydet med otte søjler, fire pilastre i sort sten og en tribune, der støttes af fire egetræ atlanten (1717/1718).
Her findes rigt dekorerede værelser og saloner, herunder på første sal byrådssalen, som ligger på facaden og danner scenen for det liègeanske politiske liv.
