Le moulin d'Abrox est probablement le lieu de naissance de Jan van Abroek (1440-1510), réformateur de l'Ordre du Saint Sépulcre. En 1775, il y a une mention du moulin en tant que moulin à huile. Depuis 1910, après une reconstruction complète, c'est devenu un moulin à turbine. Le travail du moulin est daté de 1894. À partir de ce moment, seul le grain est moulu. Après le détournement de l'Aabeek en 1961, le moulin est tombé hors d'usage. La maison du moulin est une maison profonde avec le sommet perpendiculaire à l'Aabeek. L'Aabeek passait à l'origine sous la maison du moulin.
