Brasserie de Vlegel er en etableret værdi i Mortsel. I juni 2018 overdrager den tidligere ejer Patrick Ghys faklen til den nye kinesiske ejer Yang Hu. Det afprøvede koncept bevares: stedet har åbent syv dage om ugen, og morgenmaden til én euro forbliver på menuen. Vlegel ønsker at være et mødested for alle aldre, hvor man kan komme ind i lokalet med den smukke have for en demokratisk bid mad og drikke.
