Die Brasserie La Houppe wurde 2013 von fünf Bierliebhabern gegründet. Die Brauerei blieb 9 Jahre in der ehemaligen Brauerei Balon-Parin in Namur ansässig. Die Produktion stieg langsam aber stetig. Die Freunde beschlossen, ein neues Gebäude zu kaufen. Ihr Augenmerk fiel auf die ehemalige Erdbeerauktion in Wépion. In der großen Halle sind die alten Auktionsbänke und die Auktionsuhr stehen geblieben. Die Bierproduktionskapazität beträgt inzwischen 10.000 bis 15.000 hl. Das bekannteste Bier der Brauerei ist La Houppe, ein blondes Tripel (7,5 % Alc.).
