Lucien Meyer var meddigger i modstandsgruppen Nationale Kongelige Bevægelse. Da rygterne gik om, at VNV ville tage magten i Aarschot, udfoldede NKB på 2. påskedag 1941 en naiv magtdemonstration. Dette ville vise sig at koste dem dyrt. Den 13. september 1941 blev Meyer arresteret og tortureret. Han døde den 26. marts 1944 i Essen som følge af et luftangreb.
