Den Gamle Schelde er tilbage efter en kunstig afskæring af en Schelde-bøjning i slutningen af det 19. århundrede. Efter mange års opfyldning blev der gennem Natur- og Skovforvaltningen Ostflandern igen skabt åbent vand i 2002.
Du kan frit gå rundt i den tilstødende domænskov. Et udgangspunkt ligger i Hovedgaden overfor husnummer 171.
