Jachen er en cirka 23 kilometer lang flod i Bayern og en venstre eller vestlig biflod til Isar. Det er den naturlige afløb fra Walchensee ved Niedernach, som siden 1924 har været spæret der for Walchenseekraftværket ved en dæmning.
I 1950'erne blev Jachen traditionelt brugt til tømmerflod af træ, der blev fældet omkring Walchensee og i Jachenau. Efter spærringen ved Niedernach forpligtede den bayerske stat sig til årligt at stille tillægsvand til rådighed for transport af træmængder mellem foråret og den 15. august i 60 sammenhængende dage. Jachenau har ikke gjort brug af denne ret i de seneste årtier, da al tømmer nu transporteres med lastbil fra dalen.
