La fábrica de tejidos Aachen AG fue una de las empresas textiles más grandes de Aachen. Fue fundada en 1859 por los empresarios Alfred Ritz y Conrad Vogel en Aachen, inicialmente bajo el nombre de "Ritz & Vogel" y en 1873 se trasladó a unas instalaciones fabriles recién construidas según los planes de Otto Intze en la calle Charlottenstraße, a orillas del Beverbach en el barrio de Frankenberger, que en ese momento aún pertenecía a la localidad vecina de Burtscheid. En 1887, el complejo fue adquirido por los fabricantes Siegmund Sternau y Albert Süskind, quienes integraron su fábrica de tejidos "Süskind & Sternau", fundada en la década de 1870, y transformaron la nueva empresa total en "Tuchfabrik Aachen AG" en 1897.
