Le Breite Weg est une rue de la vieille ville de Magdebourg. Le Breite Weg était autrefois considéré comme la plus belle rue baroque d'Allemagne en raison de ses grands palais et maisons bourgeoises de style baroque. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, la rue baroque a été largement détruite.
La principale rue commerçante de la ville de Magdebourg s'étend du nord au sud et se situe entre la place universitaire de Magdebourg au nord et la place Hasselbach au sud. La grande rue passait autrefois par la porte de Sudenbourg vers Sudenburg.
