L'Ijzer è un fiume in Belgio e Francia. È il più corto dei tre fiumi belgi che sfociano in mare (gli altri due sono la Mosa e l'Escaut) ed è l'unico fiume che sfocia in mare in Belgio. L'Escaut e la Mosa sfociano in mare nei Paesi Bassi. La lunghezza totale è di 78 chilometri, di cui 45 in Belgio. L'Ijzer si trova nella Westhoek. L'area tra l'Ijzer e la costa, a ovest del fiume, è chiamata Bachten de Kupe.
