A 6 km de Remiremont, el pueblo de Saint-Amé debe su nombre a San Amé, monje colombino que, junto con San Romárico, fundó el monasterio de Saint-Mont en 620. Se dice que este monasterio, cuna de la futura abadía de Remiremont, se construyó sobre un antiguo oppidum galo-romano. Con una altura de 675 m, el Saint-Mont ofrece una vista única de Remiremont y sus valles.
El municipio está atravesado por varias rutas de senderismo que conducen al bosque de Fossard, e incluye un sendero accesible a todos, etiquetado "turismo y discapacidad", cerca del Etang du Miroir, así como un sendero de pesca etiquetado en el Cleurie.
