La cappella di Maisonsgoutte fu ampliata e rinnovata nel 1737. Nel 1830, come in molti luoghi della Val de Villé, si discuteva di un nuovo ampliamento o di un nuovo edificio. L'edificio era diventato troppo piccolo a causa dell'aumento della popolazione. La chiesa era in cattivo stato di conservazione e le riparazioni furono effettuate tra il 1867 e il 1896. La demolizione iniziò solo nella primavera del 1912. La prima pietra fu posata il 7 luglio 1912 e la nuova chiesa fu consacrata il 12 ottobre 1913. Come il suo predecessore, fu posto sotto la protezione di Sant'Antonio eremita, la cui festa ricorre il 17 gennaio.
