Sankt Peters kapel er apostlens kapel, der leder fornægtelsens synd og måtte bygges af nogle troende samtidig med det forrige kapel.
Øverst i hattens hule er Lukas inskription: "ET EGRESSUS FO/RAS PETRUS FLEVIT/AMARE", som kan oversættes som: "Og da han gik, græd Peter bittert."
Kapellet skildrer Peters tre benægtelser af Jesus Kristus (inklusive hanescenen ), hvor Peter græd dybt, fordi han havde fornægtet sin Herre. Han græd voldsomt og hans ansigt var fyldt med tårer.
Derudover er der ved siden af væggen i dette kapel hr. Jorge da Costas våbenskjold og inskriptionen:
