La promenade commence à San Bartolomé de Tirajana sur le flanc du Pico de las Nieves .

Elle passe par la vallée boisée de palmiers 'Barance de Tirajana' jusqu'à Santa Lucia où il y a beaucoup de restauration. En offrant une halte l'après-midi ici, cette promenade peut être utilisée comme une merveilleuse excursion d'une journée. Par exemple, le restaurant Mirador de Santa Lucia offre une belle vue depuis le restaurant sur la vallée.

Santa Lucia elle-même est un charmant village de montagne . Ne sous-estimez pas les dénivelés : San Bartolomé est à 900m d'altitude ; le point le plus profond de la promenade est à 615 m et Santa Lucia elle-même est à 700 m.

Bien qu'il s'agisse d'une promenade aller-retour sur presque le même itinéraire, les vues sont complètement différentes .
