Het paviljoen van Joegoslavië op Expo 58 was een elegant gebouw met staalskelet en een glasgevel, en was befaamd voor zijn futuristische stijl. Destijds was het gebouw binnenin helemaal open. Die structuur is verdwenen, omdat de ruimte moest worden ingedeeld in klaslokalen. Het paviljoen is een ontwerp van de Kroaat Vjenceslav Richter, ook wel "de architect van het onmogelijke" genaamd.
In tegenstelling tot het land bestaat het paviljoen nog steeds. Het Sint-Pauluscollege in Wevelgem kocht het paviljoen in 1959. Daar staat het nog steeds in zijn originele vorm en is een van best bewaarde paviljoenen van de Expo 58.
