Dette monument står ved siden af Sankt Peters og Paulus Kirke på Sankt Peters og Paulus Plads i Oostende.
Monumentet for krigsofre fra 1922 af Pieter-Jan Braecke (1859-1938) stod oprindeligt på pladsen foran kirken. I 1968 blev dette monument nedtaget. Den bronzestatuette med soldaten blev overført til 'De Plate' (Oostende historiske museum). De to højrelieffer ("Flykten af de østendiske fiskere i 1914" og "Befrielsen i 1918"), sammen med en ny buste af kong Albert I og dronning Elisabeth af August Michiels, blev først placeret på kirkepladsen langs Vindictivelaan og derefter, i 2000, ved siden af kirken.
