Rotberg er en del af Waltersdorf i kommunen Schönefeld i Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald. Den tidligere selvstændige kommune ligger syd for Berlin nær lufthavnen Berlin-Schönefeld i delstaten Brandenburg.
I 1316 blev stedet Rotberg, grundlagt af tyske kolonister, første gang nævnt i skrift som Rodeses. Sandsynligvis har der været en wendisk bosættelse tidligere på grund af den slaviske grundform af navnet. Stednavnet kan stamme fra det tyske ord for rydning og fra det slaviske rot, som betyder vådt terræn.
