Benvenuti a De Roma! Questa impressionante sala sulla Turnhoutsebaan è stata inaugurata nel 1928 come il più grande cinema di Anversa. Oltre alle stelle del cinema, qui si sono esibiti anche icone musicali come Lou Reed, Paul McCartney e gli Iron Maiden. Dopo la chiusura nel 1982, la struttura ha rischiato di cadere in rovina, fino a quando i volontari hanno iniziato a restaurare il edificio dal 2002. Oggi continuano a prendersi cura dell'atmosfera accogliente, dal bar ai backstage. De Roma non è una sala concerti comune, ma il cuore pulsante di Borgerhout, sulla altrettanto vibrante Turnhoutsebaan. Curiosità: De Roma non prende il nome dalla capitale d'Italia, ma dalle prime lettere del suo costruttore Jean-Baptiste Romeo e di sua moglie Ludvina Malev. Romantico, vero?
