Brouwerij Van Eecke (1624) og Brouwerij Het Sas (1572) er to af de ældste stadig aktive bryggerier i Westhoek. Sammen kombinerer de mere end 4 århundreder af håndværk, tradition og passion for øl.
Historien om Brouwerij Van Eecke foregår i Watou, som slotsbryggeri for Greven af Watou. Dette bryggeri kan besøges med grupper fra 20 personer (kun efter aftale). Cykelryttere og vandrere kan tage en frisk pause eller købe et gavepakke med øl i Het Brouwershof ved siden af bryggeriet. I 1981 udviklede Karel Leroy det berømte Poperings Hommelbier i forbindelse med de treårige humlefestivaler.
Bryggeriet kan besøges i gruppe fra 20 personer.
