Elegant klassisk plads (1738-52), beliggende omkring Opera-teatret, det ældste stadig aktive teater i Frankrig. Den protestantiske tempel i neoromansk stil blev bygget under den tyske annektering, fra 1901 til 1904, af arkitekten Wahn, på stedet for Kærlighedens Have. Det er inspireret af katedralen i Speyer. Den oplyste chevet af Temple Neuf bliver om aftenen reflekteret i Mosel og er særligt romantisk.
