De kapel, gelegen op de hoek van de Place de la Victoire, herbergt een verguld houten beeld uit de 17e eeuw: de Maagd Maria houdt haar kind in haar armen en in haar rechterhand een stok, waarschijnlijk de resten van een bloeiend riet. Het beeldje ligt de inwoners van Mareuillais na aan het hart en viert elk jaar op 8 september plechtig zijn feestdag.
