St. Martinusmolen i Didam blev bygget i 1855 ved den nyanlagte vej fra Zeddam til Didam
(den nuværende Wilhelminastraat) på opdrag af Derk Kempers fra Wehl.
Møllen synes at stå på en bakke, men blev i virkeligheden bygget op fra jorden
og først derefter dækket med jord omkring møllen for at komme til
sejlene. St. Martinusmolen tilhører typen 'Båndmøller'.
På grund af deres høje konstruktion fanger de nok vind til effektiv rotation og
produktion. Ud fra de forskellige salgstall kan det udledes, at de
oprindelige byggeomkostninger var cirka 3.000 fl. (Restaureringsomkostningerne i 2007 var cirka 300.000 €).
Møllen er altså over 150 år gammel og blev restaureret i 1963 og 1980. I efteråret 2007
(året for møllen) blev en omfattende restaurering afsluttet.
