Die Doornpanne liegt einen Steinwurf von Koksijde entfernt. Hier befindet sich eine permanente Ausstellung über die Wassergewinnung in den Dünen und die reiche Fauna und Flora des rund 240 Hektar großen Naturschutzgebiets. Nirgends sonst in Westflandern findet man so viele Dünenarten wie hier, und die schönste Aussicht hat man von der Hoge Blekker, mit 33 Metern die höchste Düne an der Küste.
