Elgueta[1] ist eine Gemeinde in der Provinz Gipuzkoa im Baskenland, Spanien. Sie gehört zur Gemeinde Alto Deva. Die Bevölkerung beträgt 1131 Einwohner laut dem Register von 2017 und sie hat eine Fläche von 16,83 km². Ihre Bevölkerungsdichte beträgt 67,20 Einwohner/km². Sie befindet sich auf einem wenig geschützten Hochpunkt, strategisch an der Grenze von Gipuzkoa zu Biscaya gelegen. Seit den frühen Zeiten der Geschichte der Gemeinschaft war ihre Wirtschaft überwiegend ländlich. Die Schaffung von Industrieparks in den letzten Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts hat zur Ansiedlung einer relevanten Anzahl von Unternehmen geführt.
