Die Kathedrale, das Juwel der Stadt, das als historisches Monument klassifiziert ist, ist seit dem 5. Jahrhundert der Treffpunkt der Bevölkerung. Die heutige Kathedrale, die ab 1230 auf der Grundlage früherer Monumente erbaut wurde, hat mit erheblichen Zerstörungen zwei große Katastrophen erlitten: die Religionskriege und die Revolution von 1789, die tiefgreifende Spuren hinterließen. Die Kathedrale ist seit 1998 als UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe im Rahmen der Jakobswege nach Santiago de Compostela klassifiziert. Kapitelgarten mit archäologischen Ausgrabungen.
