Die Kirche Saint-Jean Baptiste in Hasparren wurde im 16. Jahrhundert erbaut. Im Unterbau des Hauptaltars befindet sich eine römische Inschrift, die die Bedeutung von Hasparren in der Antike markiert (eine Kopie davon ist an der Seitenwand auf der Seite des Kirchenparkplatzes zu sehen).
Die Kirche wurde im Laufe des 19. Jahrhunderts vergrößert, da das Gebäude für die Anzahl der Gläubigen zu klein war... Der Chor wurde 1835 wieder aufgebaut, danach die Apsis und die Kapellen. Die hölzernen Emporen wurden zwischen 1858 und 1859 von Charles Besoin angefertigt. Die Glasfenster wurden 1882 hergestellt und das gemalte Dekor unter dem Gewölbe der Apsis wurde von Daniel Saubiès, einem Schüler von Léon Bonnat, angefertigt.
