Groeningen ist ein Dorf, das zur Gemeinde Land van Cuijk gehört, in der niederländischen Provinz Nordbrabant. Es liegt zwischen Vierlingsbeek und Vortum-Mullem und zählt etwa 130 Wohnadressen und 380 Einwohner. Dieses Dorf war besonders wichtig als Rastplatz für Postkutschen und anderen Verkehr, der sich über die Handelsstraße von Köln nach 's-Hertogenbosch bewegte. Später wurde es zu einem Rastplatz für den Verkehr zwischen Venlo und Nijmegen. Die Postkutschen in beide Richtungen trafen sich hier. Auch wurde hier Gepäck von einem Wagen in den anderen umgeladen.
