Untertilliach is a municipality with 220 inhabitants in the district of Lienz in the state of Tyrol in Austria. The municipality of Untertilliach is located in the extreme southeast of the Lienz district at the border with Carinthia and Italy. It includes parts of the Lesach Valley. The settlements of Untertilliach are predominantly situated in the valley of the Gail between the Lienz Dolomites and the Carnic Alps. With an area of 36.34 km², it is the seventeenth largest of the 33 East Tyrolean municipalities.
