The Palais Kollonitsch is a former city palace in Graz located on Schmiedgasse in the Innere Stadt district.
In 1641, Count Otto Gottfried Kollonitsch, k.k. regimental councilor and chamberlain of Archduke Leopold Wilhelm, acquired an existing townhouse at this location. This was the so-called "Judelhaus," a building that the Holy Roman King Maximilian I had gifted to his councilor Erhard von Polheim in 1496. Subsequently, it was owned by Baron Hanns Wilhelm von Galler, who sold it in 1630 to the regional cook Sebastian Khneißl, before it passed into the possession of Count Kollonitsch. Ultimately, it was incorporated into a family fideicommissum.
