The mill stands at an altitude, in a place called Pidebecq au camp du Mont, along the road from Ath to Flobecq. It is a brick tower mill with a rotating roof that was built on an artificial hill and is surrounded by a brick wall. It was built in 1789 by J-B Deltenre and remained active until World War II.
Even though it had been listed since 1982, the condition of the mill continued to deteriorate. In 1998 it was purchased by the city and that caused a rebirth. The mechanism, the 4 millstones and the blades were completely replaced. He can now crush grains again and produce flour for didactic purposes.
