Argenteau is a village in the Belgian province of Liège and a district of the city of Oupeye. During the Ancien Régime, it was part of the redemptive village of Hermal. From the French period, it was an independent municipality until it was added to the municipality of Oupeye in the 1977 merger.
Argenteau is located at a height on the right bank of the Meuse between Liège and Oupeye, allowing it to have good connections via the A25/E25 motorway, which the village is connected to. The railway line between Liège and Maastricht also runs through the village. Until 1956, Argenteau had a station along this railway line.
